On March 18th 2010 Prysmian ASEAN held an Innovation Day in Kota Kinabalu, East Malaysia. The seminar attracted over 40 visitors from utilities, contractors and consultants in East Malaysia.

The Innovation Day focused on Prysmian innovations that were of significant interest to the audience and the region, with Milan based Prysmian RD&Q representatives Roberto Gaspari and Gerhard Novak presenting 'Drylam and Airbag Systems' in addition to Optopower Diagnostic solutions

Participants were particularly impressed with the professional presentations and a thoroughly well organized event. The lively question and answer session confirmed a high level of interest not only in the specific fields presented, but in Prysmian's global capabilities, product portfolio and in depth knowledge of cable system solutions.

This session was the first of its kind in the region and based on the great success of this event we will be conducting a future session in the region in the second half of the year
